Let me reiterate: I am SO HAPPY to be a Beta. How did those girls even get into Alfea? They have such morons there! Faragonda must be desperate.

Thankfully, we do not have those types at Beta. There are testing requirements to get into this school. Not knowing how to type or spell would automatically get you disqualified. A fairy should be intelligent. Otherwise, it's too easy to mess up spells. Magic does not belong in the hands of the braindead.

And we're the inferior school? Please.

So after the Valentine's dance, I found out that that stupid little twat Miky from Alfea called my Arkady names! Something about a nerd and a geek.

How fucking judgmental can you get? Just because he's not some prince doesn't mean he's a loser. He's got brains though, which is something that little moron probably can't even fathom. Wouldn't mean a damn thing to her, since she can't even spell.

I went to your fucking realm and fought for you, Miky. You've got a lot of nerve being mean to someone I love. Ungrateful little cunt.

Thankfully though, there's someone at Alfea that has some taste. Way to go, Kadija! You tell 'em!

OOC: So awesome I have to post about it in TWO accounts.

The twins and I have greatly enjoyed showing Solaria that Betas are just as awesome as Alfea girls. I think I've finally overcome the taint my mother put on my reputation. A bad fairy couldn't gain her Enchantix, could she? And I'm even a bit under the usual Enchantix age for Betas. All three of us are.

Arkady has enjoyed seeing Solaria for the first time, but all four of us are headed back a bit early. Best get settled in and relax in Magix before school starts up again. The twins and I have no idea what to expect from our new classes.

Arkady and I are heading to Mythologia in a few hours. He's got some stuff to do there and then we're going on to Solaria after a couple days. Scylla and Charybdis are going right there and then the four of us will meet up and have some fun. We've definitely got to show everyone that Alfea girls aren't the only ones that can shine!

I'll talk to everyone when we get back. I doubt I'll have much time for online stuff. We've got lots to do!

The library is cleaned up and all the fairies that were transformed are doing fine. They don't remember much of what happened.

Scylla, Charybdis and I had to meet with the headmistress. We've been assigned new Enchantix classes for the next semester, so we have the rest of this one off! Not that there's much left, but still.

After everyone's recovered, we should all celebrate!

We, the Loganex Mission Party, are on our way home and should be touching down at Red Fountain in about two hours, according to Arkady.

Barring any troubles, let's meet at the same place in three hours. W says the room should be vacant again.

We're going for the biker look. I purchased the costumes and some makeup today. (The girls both had a class I didn't, so I came into Magix myself.) I'm still a little bit tempted to con Scylla into taking the white outfit. I love the purple and pink one! But I'll be a good friend and let her have it, since we agreed upon it. Heh. I don't steal clothes! *giggle*

So what are the details of this Halloween party? Is it a school thing? It's at Red Fountain, right?

The girls and I are having issues coming up with our actual Halloween costumes. Our goddess outfits were excellent, but we don't want to repeat ourselves or do something similar. We were in that Earth costume shop the other day and still came up without a sure idea. Scylla wanted to be these princesses...Disney, I think was the name? But I'm not sure me dressing as a princess would be a wise idea.

We did find some neat costumes from something called Charlie's Angels. There were a lot of different outfits in sets of three. We put a couple on hold at the shop.

After a quick check to see if it was mentioned that Betas were fairies, I found that sadly, yes, it was (by Flora in both 4Kids and Rai English). I had the idea they might be fairy/witch half-breeds.

So instead I think they're just a different type of fairy. Chimera's never transformed, yet she does some pretty major spells. I'm thinking they don't have fairy forms until they achieve Enchantix, which makes them "Betas," since they can't fly and are thus a little more disadvantaged. (Though at the same time, they don't have to transform.) Chimera and friends get around via Charybdis's funnels. And their feet, of course. Heh.

I thought I would share the little story snippet that got me going on Chimera. It introduces my concept for Chimera's new self and her two friends.

( Intro )

CHIMERA:
So Chimera's not quite a froofy girly as she was in the show. She was spelled by her mother early in Season 3. I consider her last true unspelled act as offering Stella the red dress in Episode 2. Cassandra would have spelled her after that and then Baltor would have claimed them both shortly after. All she's been through has mellowed Chimera some, although she's still a strong personality and a leader. I've given Chimera the power of chaos energy. It takes various, rather unpredictable and definitely destructive forms. She's still got a short temper, too, so it's best to stay on her good side.

For those without Greek mythology background, the chimera was one of the many monsters in the myths. So it made sense for me to pick other monsters to name the unnamed Beta friends after.

SCYLLA:
Scylla was a nymph who was turned into a monster. She has a couple different forms, but I think of her as a woman with six ferocious dog heads on long necks protruding from her waist. So my fairy Scylla (the pink-pigtailed one) has the power to create six supernatural wolves and control them. She can communicate with them telepathically and they have both intangible spirit forms and real flesh and blood forms. Scylla is the most into music of the three girls and DJs occasionally.

CHARYBDIS:
In mythology, Charybdis was another punished nymph. She's essentially a huge whirlpool. Scylla and Charybdis were located on opposite sides of a narrow strait, so if you avoided one, the other got you. Hence the phrase "between Scylla and Charybdis," meaning you're stuck between two unattractive choices. (Like "between a rock and a hard place," which is the modern version of the phrase.) Charybdis, the Beta with the orange braid, is the most tomboyish of the three. She's constantly thirsty, a reference to her mythological inspiration, which was thought to be a giant mouth gulping water. Her power is that she can create funnels like tornadoes and whirlpools.

Scylla and Charybdis are twin sisters. They follow Chimera, but not in a minion way. They're quite independent and have their own minds. I took this idea from the fact that they weren't at Stella's princess ball and didn't show up on Solaria at all during Chimera's reign. If they were really close to Chimera, she would have had them there with her. The three are a clique, but not an inseparable one.

So those are my three girls. You'll be seeing them later tonight!

Just posted an open invite to my favorite club in Magix. They're having a big party this Friday night. Scylla's one of the DJs, along with a Cloud Tower witch and a Red Fountain Specialist, so the turn out ought to be interesting!
